Andy Gray (Actor and Comedian) dead at only 61.

I know that this won't mean the same outside of Scotland but far too soon.

Used to enjoy him in Panto each year in Edinburgh as well as his other stage work.

Well known up here for his appearances in City Lights, River City as well as appearing in the likes of Rab C Nesbitt.

Just a very nice man.

Aw, how sad. He was a legend. I had thought he was getting better and we would see him again in River City.

SF, you're thinking of the great Scotland player who's a bit older and still with us.

Edit :- Allan Stewart was on the news earlier, and apparently Andy had covid, was on a ventilator last 2 weeks 😢

I liked Andy Gray thought he was quite funny especially in City Lights. Saw him and Elaine C Smith in the play Two. It was excellent and you didn’t realise that it was only the two of them in it. Sad news.

Such sad news. Was talking to my mum about City Lights and how so many of the lead characters passed away at a young age. Did he have an underlying health condition? It didn’t say on the bbc page.

Such a shame. Far too young. He will be up there having a pint with Gerard Kelly 🍻 😇

My thoughts exactly, they'll be putting on the best panto in the world up there. Another tragic loss to covid.
