Honeywell wireless thermostat
DD has a wireless honeywell thermostat for her heating which she has inherited in the hiuse she has bought. Its working but even though it is programmed with times and temperatures for the day, it has 6 different periods during the day, the temperature keeps defaulting to 22°.
I have reprogrammed it and her boyfriend has too but can't seem to stop it. Its only coming on at the requested times i think but not sticking to the target temperature. Batteries are fine. Looked online and says we can do a factory reset but will it get rid of the wireless connection between the thermostat and the boiler or will it just put the settings on the thermostat back to the recommended settings. Cant find any info on what it will actually change. Any advice would be great. |

Have you checked that it has the correct Wi-fi network and code? When I changed Wi-fi I forgot to change the details and it went haywire for a bit

And also ensure they are using the red Honeywell app titled “home” rather than the one called Honeywell - see below
If all else falls call Honeywell - they are really helpful |

You don't have any other settings on like holiday/economy etc can't remember the other categories as not at home.
Have you changed all the settings for each room individually?

Mine has exactly the same problem, had it for around 3 years and never been able to program it. If it gets too hot I just either turn the radiators down or turn down the thermostat. My boiler man tried to do a reset etc but it didn’t work. So now I just leave it.
