Hi - in the process of booking accommodation for April next year. I want somewhere that is cheap, clean and basic and close to Universal/SW but on i-drive itself for access to food places. Have no need of anything fancy or onsite facilities beyond a standard pool (which tbf we dont really need as our AP's include Vb and aquatica) and shuttle service to Universal (as it's a faff to get there on public transport)
FE seems to tick these boxes. Seems to have okay reviews too (always take reviews with pinch of salt on tripadvisor anyways) Wondering if anyone has stayed there recently and has any feedback on it and if anyone knows if there are any hidden costs payable at motel when arriving e.g. resort fee? Thanks

We've just booked this for next April too, however only for our first night before we head to RPR.
When we booked it stated an approx $9 a night tax payable locally... no info on the stay part yet so I'm keen to see replies |

We stayed there donkey's years ago when it was The Holiday Inn Express. Did exactly what it said on the tin. Cheap and Cheerful summed it up then. Room and Facilities were exactly what we needed. Plus it's next door to Dairy Queen!
