Universal Annual Pass Hotel Discount

Has anyone booked universal hotel and got discount with AP? If so, how much did you pay and how far in advance can you book?

We have annual passes and you can book the discounted rate a few months in advance. They only release a set number of rooms at a discounted rate and only for certain dates.

Best thing to do is go to the website and check for your dates, discount code is 'AP' and you can book without an annual pass, you just have to have a valid one on check in.

As said they do not release them too many months in advance. If you reserve a room with free cancellation you can keep your options open for when they release them.

You might have more luck by putting in the code APH rather than AP.

Also if you go to the universalorlando website and then select the annual passholder link at the top of the page it will take you to the pass holder pages. You do not need to be a holder. One of the tabs on there is hotels and this will normally tell you the dates the promotions are running to although I always find it better to check using the code as they are sometimes slow in updating it.

I booked with an AP discount for this year. I had already booked a free cancellation booking with ebookers so just kept checking daily. You should check both the Loews site and the Universal site though as I got mine via Loews and it wasn’t available via Universal. And I have APH.

It wasn’t a great discount but maybe around £150 over 4 nights. We stayed over Labour Day weekend so that’s probably why.

We booked RPR for 2 nights with an annual pass discount a couple of weeks ago (on Columbus day & the day after) for £320.
To give you an idea I'd previously booked the 'normal' way via Expedia for £498 for the same 2 nights, so a fair saving.

I cancelled the Expedia booking & rebooked using the APH code direct with Universal then got my annual pass upgrade the day before I checked in.
