Camcorder

Hey,

Looking for a camcorder to record some memories when we go in April. anyone have a good recommendation for between £200/£300?

Something like this is honestly ideal, can buy accessory kits on the likes of amazon & ebay for cheap.

Excuse mt ignorance but can you plug one of these in to your tv to watch your recordings?

Ultimately these days you don't often plug them in the the TV to watch back, rather put them on your computer and then watch through that... Of course, many modern TVs have SD card readers so you can watch some of the footage using that too.

Maybe look at the Canon Legria range if you want a camcorder style camera. A lot of vloggers tend to use compact cameras such as the Panasonic TZ range too. Of course, you can just use a mobile phone to capture memories... The best camera to use is whatever is in your pocket!

Go Pro format is not as flexible as a camcorder. If you notice most of the vloggers use a good camera for most of the shots. Most of the medium /expensive cameras have good video capabilities. They use an action camera like Go Pro for on coasters etc. I still use a camcorder. They are designed for the job. Though as cameras are getting better at video camcorders are getting less available
