One extra, Non Park day...what to do?

Had hoped to split my return journey with a Niagara trip, but price was too much...so what would you do?

We check out of our villa on Saturday, fly home Sunday.

I’m tempted by a day/night at Clearwater...but what would you do in this time, there?
Or what else would you recommend? We will be all ‘parked out’, by then, I imagine.

We can’t go too far afield as we have to be back at MCO for 10am, but I do need an extra nights accommodation and am happy to drive for something a bit different and worthwhile.

We’re not ‘beach’ lovers (for a whole day, anyway) but love the coast.

Would love your ideas!

What about Kennedy? Or Daytona Beach?

If you did Clearwater, there is CMA aquarium (watch the Dolphin Tale films before you go esp if you have kids), boat trip to see dolphins in the wild, lovely restaurants, the pier and of course a lovely sunset to top it off. Plenty to do without having to spend all day on the beach.

Thanks all - am thinking about Kennedy possibly while we're 'in villa'.

What's 'at' Daytona?

I genuinely think we'd like a change of pace from a park and may well do an after hours event during the majority of our stay.

I'm leaning towards Clearwater, but it's over 20 years since I've been (stayed at St Pete Beach for a week) and I can't remember what was there and whether a day would be 'enough'!

we done Daytona last year. the speedway track tours are really good and we loved it but Daytona itself is a dump, wouldn't recommend at all to stay overnight.
