Fun Spot America
Hi,
We are staying close to Old Town and I got a good deal on Fun Spot America wristbands, but notice these are valid for either the Kissimmee or Orlando sites. I was unaware of the Orlando site, but was just wondering if the Orlando location better than the Old Town. Has anybody been to both sites and if so which site is better. Thanks in advance Peter |

Fun spot Kissimmee is a must just to ride Mineblower. In my opinion the third best rollercoaster in Florida after Montu and Mako.

We've been to both several times. If you go to the Orlando park on a Monday/Tuesday, even in summer, get there for 10am opening and you will effectively have a theme park more or less to yourselves for a couple of hours (the girls stay on the rollercoasters until they get bored).
Atmosphere in the evenings is better at Old Town and, I agree, the car shows at Old Town are good to look around. Parking at Old Town in the evening can be a nightmare, though... Both are good value when you compare $'s per ride against Disney/Universal park and you don't get charged for parking !

We really enjoyed the mineblower too, well worth a visit and the queues are pretty much a walk on if you go during a week night.

We’ve been there tonight for the classic car cruise, got there early and discovered Fun Spot, DH and DS went on the mine blower and thought it was amazing, so we are headed back there for a whole afternoon tomorrow where they will get unlimited rides for $60. The car cruise was great and the atmosphere was good.
Nice find and something a bit different.
