Mobile Gatwick Hotel & Parking

Hi, looking for suggestions please. We are a family of 3 adults & 1 child travelling from LGW South terminal on the 1st July next year. We are driving down from the North on the 30/6 and looking for a family room and parking for when we are away. I have booked Cambridge Lodge but the reviews are not great. So now looking to see if there is a better alternative. Thank you

We did the same last month, from the N.E. - we stayed at the Hilton right on the South terminal, and they have family rooms. We used the Meet and Greet for parking and it's literally an easy 5 min walk to the hotel.

The Sofitel is the nicest hotel at the airport but it's generally the most expensive as a result. We tend to stay there and use valet parking. We leave the car outside the hotel, at some point it disappears and it's waiting for us at the terminal when we return.

You don't need to get hung up on which terminal you're flying from when you consider a hotel, as they are connected with a continuously running little monorail thing.

we booked premier inn North and Gatwick parking separately, we park up the night before we fly and shuttle to the North terminal then just walk to the North terminal in the morning but understand its a simple 90 second monorail ride to south terminal.

Is the meet and greet booked through the hotel or separately? Thank you. How did you find the journey home after your return?

I've looked at Premier Inn but we would need 2 rooms which we don't really want. Who did you book your parking with?
Thank you

If you were just Adults, I would say Sofitel, but with Children the Hilton or the Bloc. x

I stayed at the Hilton last month (didn’t need parking as I got a lift). We usually stay at the Sofitel with parking, I didn’t know they valet parked, we always park up ourselves. Sofitel much nicer, I didn’t really like the Hilton.

Phone the hotel before you book, Premier Inn are not as strict as other hotel brands on room occupancy.
We wanted self parking so booked direct with Gatwick North long stay car park for £80 (gatwickparking.com), I booked through quidco and should get £6 cash back.
