Boathouse DDP
Does anyone know if you can club your credits together and order the S’mores baked Alaska?
Also, if you are ordering steak etc do you get a side, fries etc? Or do you have to order/pay separate for those? Is it worth the 2 credits? We are definitely going, just deciding if we should go whilst on the DDP or pay when we move to the villa |

Yes you can club credits for the S’mores dessert.
The steaks come with a little veg and a couple of potatoes (very small!). You pay for extra sides which are big enough to share. Some of the cheaper meals eg burger do come with fries. It’s not great value on DDP but you do get the bread service too. I didn’t bother with extra sides as knew dessert was massive and had the bread too. Edited at 09:05 PM. |

Can you use a mix of DDP credits & cash?
Use credits for 3 of us and pay for the rest? My daughter now says she just wants a starter and my son wants a burger so do not fancy using 2 credits each for that lol |

Boathouse is worth it just for the bread.
Also one of the steaks(cooked in a lovely garlic butter) come with fries. And the cheese cake is one of the best I've had |

If the side is listed as a side on the menu you won’t get it on the dining plan, you will only get whatever is listed in the entree description. I have not been to the Boathouse yet but I have thought about it and it was always an OOP option for us as I don’t think it is worth two credits. I will book it next time and use credits but only as we have deluxe dining plan and it is a bit hard to work through those credits. If I were on regular dining plan, this is one I would pay for.

In our experience, the baked Alaska was very much style over substance! It was definitely nothing special, didn't taste particularly great, and the only good thing about it was the photos. We wouldn't get it again. I can't remember how many people's credits we had to club together to get it.
