I did a chargeback through my Amex card and it was all very quick and straightforward.
Personally, if I were in your position I would lodge a claim through my credit card for the amount I was out of pocket i.e the cost of your one way flights and at least get the ball rolling. At the end of the day that"s how much they "owe" you in my view... |

Didn't Virgin organise your return flight?
As you are after a refund I assume you paid for your flight back to the UK. Bit dim but thought Virgin were responsible for getting people home or did I miss something!

Although we flew back with Virgin I had to organise and book the flight online as we were in Disney and literally could not get through on the phone after many hours on the phone.

Hi, we did a chargeback for upper deck seats on the 7th Aug, no email to confirm that my forms were submitted. Yesterday we got a form in the post to complete and send in evidence of what we were claiming for. Luckily I had already printed off VA credit card statement in preparation.
Probably get a form in a couple of days to complete for return flight seats! Edited at 09:29 AM. |
