Choosing a carpet

After spending ages deciding on which type of carpet we want we are then stuck on the shade 🤨
One is very dark, maybe too dark so thinking of the lighter one. But on the photos I took the darker one looks richer.
The carpet is for our bedroom and we will be having the same carpet on the stairs & landing in the next month or so.

They both look rather dark to me but certainly the darker of the 2 will show up every thread or bit of fluff dropped etc And you will be hoovering it a couple of times a day (well I would be) - is there a option of a lighter more neutral ?

I agree with MF above. Lighter is more easy on the eye and certainly easier on upkeep

We did the dining room in the spring. Lights not good sorry but may look better in daylight.

Mmm, picture two looks pink but it’s not!

The lighter one looks similar to the one we have on our stairs. We love it. I’d go for the lighter one as the other is too dark I think.

I had dark grey once in the hall and stairs and never again , it showed up everything .

Changed to light beige and it’s so much better .

We have the lighter one throughout the house and would definitely recommend it

I think they both look dark and not much different to each other, although that could just be the photo. Whatever, I would go for the lighter carpet.

I’ve just done the stairs in one that looks very like your lighter one, swooped it from beige & like it so much better, I don’t think it shows up the fluff etc at all.

We have almost identical to those, the dark on the stairs and a lighter one in the bedrooms. Not had an issue with the dark one showing all the bits at all.

I like the dark one! But then I’m the fool that decided to get black carpets when I have a white haired dog *face palm*.
