Getting To Downtown Disney
Hi All.
Haven't been to Orlando for 5 years, but I remember being able to use the disney bus to get to Downtown Disney from the parks. We are staying off site and hope to eat at Planet Hollywood, but after reading about the queues into the site and parking problems, was wondering if it would be better to leave our van at a park and use disney transportation to get to DTD. is this still possible, and what park should we leave the van at? Thank-you |

Hi KC,
You cannot get a bus from the theme parks to downtown disney anymore as people were parking there for free and using the bus to travel to the theme parks. Your only option is to get a bus to a resort then transport from there, or head to the TTC and get a bus from there. If you travel to Saratoga Springs you can walk from the congress park stop or you can travel to port orleans/old key west and get the boat |

Thanks for the post dtm316.
I presume we would have to pay to park at Saratoga? What would the cost be? If we parked at TTC, would it be a direct bus or a change somewhere along the line? Sorry for the questions, thought I'd best start doing some planning sooner rather than later! KC |

You can't park at Saratoga. I think the other poster meant get the bus to that resort.
I think you will be fine parking in the new multi storey at DTD. Maybe a ten min queue to get in but better than buses.

Yes you can no problems, plus there is a new bridge that cuts the distance by half or so to what it used to be!
