Thomas Cook to Florida
We're flying Thomas Cook premium economy to Florida next May. The main reasons for using them are: 1. They fly direct to Orlando International from Manchester. 2. They offer 'night before check in'. 3. They are so much cheaper than Virgin Atlantic.
We have only used Thomas Cook for relatively short flight. So, has anyone used this company and product and what was your experience like? Ta. |

We're flying Thomas Cook Premium Economy in August next year for the first time too . We booked with them after hearing great things from other users and for the same reasons as you. Every airline will have its good and bad experiences but from what I've heard about them, I'm really looking forward to it.

We flew Thomas Cook in August from Manchester to Miami. Couldn't fault them - we flew economy and thought the leg room was better than Virgin and BA, but the IFE wasn't as good, but still good. In PE you'll get the full IFE without having to pay. Would definitely consider them in future if they are the cheapest option (Thomson are cheaper for us next year).

Did TC premium economy MAN-MCO in 2013 (I think... it may have been 2014...) and it was awful - I couldn't figure out what was premium about it! Absolutely the most uncomfortable plane seat I've had the misfortune to fly in. To top it all it took over an hour for our 'priority' bags to come off the carousel... after pretty much everyone else which meant we had to stand in a massive queue for car hire as well.
I swore I would never fly with them again and switched to Thomson this year, however many people on here have said that they've really got their act together, especially in PE, so I might give them another go if there is a saving to be had. |

We flew first time with TC, Manchester to MCO, recently and had great flights. Twilight check-in made things so much easier on the day and the new A330 was superb. We'll be going TC again.

Used them loads of times to go to Florida and had good experiences. Winter 2014 we travelled out with them to MCO and back with Icelandair from Sanford.

We flew Man-Mia last August, would definately fly again with them for the right price. Brand 'new' planes(refurbed), genuinely good food(outbound), decent IFE(paid £4 each to upgrade outbound, didnt bother inbound due to night flight). Left on time, landed on time. Really pleased with the flight.
