Recomend me a beach near Kennedy Space
As above, going in August and want to maybe do a full day at Keneddy Space station then find a motel or the like and spend the next day at a good beach before heading back to Lake Buerna Vista.
2 adults and 2 kids age 9 and 10 if it helps? Thanks you |

We love Canaveral Beach near the pier. We have stayed in La Quinta Inn & Suites Cocoa Beach Oceanfront and a couple of other Hotel/Motels. Lunch on the Pier at Grills Seafood Deck & Tiki Bar was great. Why not visit the Shopping Mall at Merritt Island.

Cocoa Beach was really lovely but it was busy and be careful as the sea is a bit rough and choppy. Was so hot!

We love Cocoa Beach. You can get some fabulous photos if you have have dinner at the Sunset Cafe. We also enjoy taking the self guided drives round the Merritt Island Nature Reserve.

Nice beach on outskirts of Cocoa near Patrick Airbase, no hotels there though.

As ilivehere says there's a lovely beach close to the airbase - I believe it's called blockhouse beach and it has its own Facebook page. There are no facilities iykwim at this part of the beach, but the next beach/car park (free) down there are toilets. The currents can be rough but the beach is never crowded and the sun is strong so wear plenty of sunscreen.
