Best Disney Restaurant

We are staying off site so don't have a dining plan. We want one nice meal either at a Disney park or Disney hotel. We don't want it tooooo expensive and I have a special diet. If you had to choose just one which would it be?

Thanks in advance

For me... outwith any signature restaurants it would have to be Ohaha, we loved the food, the setting and headed down onto the Beach to watch Wishes afterwards! Cant wait to go back.

Mmm, hard. I think you need to look at menus and then say what toooo expensive is.
I would always recommend a Signature but that may be too much or one of the Moderates may not be enough.
I would look at Citricos, Brown Derby, Captains Grill and The Wave then come back with which is the best budgetary option for you.

I would go for a buffett... we did Trails End last year, good location - got boat across to MK and back.

O'hanas is a good shout too.

If in a park, Crystal Palace or Garden Grill are good value with characters.

With your diet I would do a buffet.

I would recommend 1900 Park Fare at the GFH.

Just the opportunity to walk round the GFH is an amazing experience.

Thanks all I like the look of Ohana. Do all the Disney restaurants offer good gluten free options?

I guess it depends on what you are looking for in a restaurant too!

I haven't been to 'Ohana yet, however I have hard so many good things, it was the top of my list for this years trip!

This will be a pretty contentious view, I think, but I absolutely LOVED Be Our Guest. Okay, the food isn't amazing like in some of the other restaurants, but the theming of the restaurant is incredible! Beauty and the Beast is my favourite film and going into the restaurant I was just so excited and the interior lived up to expectations too!

If you go in the evening, the Beast will walk through the main ballroom every 30 minutes and you can have a photo with him after your meal.

I thought it was fab, but yes I accept the food isn't great. I would definitely recommend dinner over lunch though it is a completely different atmosphere. Very noisy at lunch time!
