If so Virgin Atlantic for a 7 seater is £600. Good price.
Thank You, yes 12th April but for 16 days

We don't actually need the 7 seats (3a 1c 1I) was just thinking that would be the best space wise. But now actually thinking we may be better off with a intermediate/standard suv. They also seems to be cheaper
Might still book with Avis and see what the swap line has

All with Virgin

We've just got an Intermediate SUV from us car hire for £389. Virgin wanted about £700 for the same car, they had cheaper slightly smaller cars too.

The way prices are going £600 is not bad at all. We've been going regularly since 1990 and we normally hire a 7 seat van. Until this year my price marker has always been £170 a week for the 7 seater and I've always hired at this price or below. I managed to get a 7 seater hired in Vegas in 2 weeks time, dropped off in San Jose 3 weeks later for £534, which is near the £170 target. If I were to try hiring this today I wouldn't be seeing much change out of a grand Prices have just gone crazy this year It can't all be accounted for by the drop in £ against the $.

They also seem to jump up for no apparent reason. We paid £389 for a 7 seater in 2016. A 30-40% increase is not just the £/$ or inflation
