Thank You, yes 12th April but for 16 days
We don't actually need the 7 seats (3a 1c 1I) was just thinking that would be the best space wise. But now actually thinking we may be better off with a intermediate/standard suv. They also seems to be cheaper Might still book with Avis and see what the swap line has |

We've just got an Intermediate SUV from us car hire for £389. Virgin wanted about £700 for the same car, they had cheaper slightly smaller cars too.

The way prices are going £600 is not bad at all. We've been going regularly since 1990 and we normally hire a 7 seat van. Until this year my price marker has always been £170 a week for the 7 seater and I've always hired at this price or below. I managed to get a 7 seater hired in Vegas in 2 weeks time, dropped off in San Jose 3 weeks later for £534, which is near the £170 target. If I were to try hiring this today I wouldn't be seeing much change out of a grand Prices have just gone crazy this year It can't all be accounted for by the drop in £ against the $.

They also seem to jump up for no apparent reason. We paid £389 for a 7 seater in 2016. A 30-40% increase is not just the £/$ or inflation
