universal Horror night 2019

Hi Everyone,

looking for advice on universal for 31st October 2019 - was going to spend the whole day at universal and do the horror night event, do you think it would be too busy on the day of actual Halloween and tiring?

We arrive in Orlando on the 25th October for two weeks so any advice for this is welcome.

we usually get to universal between 9 and 10am when we go... i reckon i would be too knackered by 6pm after walking round all day to want to do it all again in the evening for HHN

personally i would do one or the other. and if you're doing HHN on halloween, i'd be getting the fastpass, as i suspect it'll be considerably busier than other nights

HHN now goes into Nov so you may have a couple of options.

31st October is traditionally a quieter HHN night as many locals have parties to go to.

If you are only doing on evening think about doing an RIP tour to maximise your time.

If you do a full day at Universal, think about wetting around 4pm. If you do the RIP tour you get to use a special entrance so no worry about the crowds.

What about maybe booking a night in a Universal hotel to crash in after HHN

silly Question but are the rides still open?

Thinking we may be better doing an evening then coming back on another day to explore the bits we didn't see or do?

Certain rides are open, they don’t open all, they are usually listed though. Last time it was mummy, gringotts, rip ride rock it, MIB, and the simpsons ride ☺️

But in a single night you would struggle to do all the houses and not have any time to do rides as well and its for the houses and scare zones that you go to HHN for.
The last night last year was very crowded and houses had 2-3 hours wait!

In 2016 we did all the houses and a couple of rides over 2 nights
That was without Express passes

On one of our trips we were in the park for early entry at 7am(I think) and left HHN at 2am

We had a break in the middle for food though, we were tired but nothing unmanageable.

Also Halloween night is not the busiest due to locals having other plans
