This was son's 18th Birthday cake (8 years ago). It should have cost around $120 however, there was a mix up and Disney waived the cost.

I ordered a 'mini cake' for my daughter's 8th birthday in 2014. We had three ADRs that day and decided that we'd only need a mini cake as there were only four of us and we didn't want to take any away afterwards. We did have some left over but it was very nice.
I had ordered this via email from the Contemporary bakery which at that time provided cakes for Magic Kingdom restaurants. We had ours delivered to Be Our Guest for dinner. I was hoping to do a similar thing this year but I've read that Disney are no longer offering personalised cakes to order at Magic Kingdom restaurants as of December 2016 . We are staying at Boardwalk Villas for her birthday so I think I'm going to order a personalised cake from the Boardwalk Bakery when we arrive (6 days before her birthday, I think they only need 2 or 3 days notice). This mini cake was $80 three years ago, would have been $65 if we'd gone for a 2D Stitch image rather than a painted 3D chocolate figure. My daughter was over the moon with her cake but I was a little disappointed as I hadn't asked for palm trees and 'sand', I just wanted it simple white and blue. (sorry about the massive photos, struggling to resize them ) I'd be interested to hear if anyone has ordered a cake from the Boardwalk Bakery before too .
