Yachtsman Steakhouse vs Le Cellier

Hello! We're starting to look at ADRs for our October trip and just can't decide between YS and LC. Hoping I can get your opionions, please.

I assume the steak is amazing in both restaurants but I wondered about he overall vibe. We'd like it to be cosy and romantic but not super cramped so you feel like everyone can hear your conversation.

The wine list is important as well. Does anyone know if that's the same at both or if it differs? Is one better than the other?

Any thoughts or suggestions welcome! x

No idea about the wine list but as much as we love Le Cellier, The Yachtsman is probably more what you're looking for. Le Cellier is a theme park restaurant so the tables are quiet close together. We're doing both though.

Not overstruck with Le Cellier. It's ok for lunch but does get crowded for dinner and the tables are very close together. I only know that the wine list at YS is very comprehensive and the waiters are all very knowledgeable. Steaks are to die for.

Having eaten in both in August, we prefer Yachtsman. Waiter excellent, great wine and overall steak was so much better. Felt rushed in LC.

Thanks everyone! Thinks it's probably going to be YS then. We're staying at the Yacht Club anyway so we probably should eat there!

Really would not bother we Le Cellier - we had a really poor experience there. It was crowded, running late and the food was almost inedible. I ordered my steak medium and it came out burnt dry!

Le Cellier used to be great when it was 1TS, but I would never do any 2TS place in a park, we like to get dressed up and head out to dinner at a nice resort, not battle through turnstiles and crowds to get to our meal. Plus as said it is really cramped in there as well.

You can't go wrong with Yachtsmen really. Don't forget you can swap sides if the steak you fancy doesn't have the side you fancy. I recommend the Kansas City Strip, the malt fries are to die for

We loved our first visit to Le Cellier back in 2013, but they changed the menu, the food didn't taste anywhere near as good. We dined at YS in October and really enjoyed it. Dressed up smart, the waiter said I could have whatever side or dressing I fancied. Was great and I'd recommend them over Le Cellier now.
