Easiest way to get to emerald isle
Hi we are family of 3 with an economy car booked from the airport and 3 weeks. Just found out 2 others are going to come with us, prob is to change our car to 7 seater SUV is double what we paid and we would only need the luggage space of a 7 seater to and from the Airport. Just wondering what's the easiest way for the other 2 to get to Emerald Isle (villa offsite) if we take their cases in our car. Really don't want the hassle and cost of changing our car just for airport part.

Would it not be worth them hiring their own car?
You will be tied to driving round together for the 3 weeks otherwise!

They will be spending the rest of the 3 weeks with us and will be driving too so no real need for them to have their car. It's just not having enough space for them and luggage to and from the airport

We have done it once when my dad took the rest of family to villa and cake back for us at airport but it felt like ages especially after the long flight. That was many years ago before I could drive over there

I'd NEVER share a car again after having a horrific experience having to tag along with our friends a few years ago...
I'd get them to hire their own or get them to upgrade car size and pay for upgrade costs on the dy... |

If you have hired an Economy car, some, such as the Chevy Spark only have 4 seats, so you may need to upgrade anyhow.

Why would you take their luggage? Even without them in the car you'll struggle to get yours and their luggage in an economy car. A taxi from the airport would expect them to have luggage and will be a much easier option.

Thanks all. They are doing us a huge favour coming with us as my in laws had to pull out last min. Looks like me and auntie will get the lynx and the other 3 can take luggage to villa and then meet up there.
