Mobile Getting an uber/taxi on 4th July?

We are planning to go to celebration on the fourth and I'd like to have a couple of beers

Is a taxi/uber likely or easy to come by?

Depends how many are working and how bad traffic is, they've got to get in to get you out. After the fireworks it's likely to be surge pricing.

Yeah, thought it might be costly. But I'm doing all the driving on holiday so I'd like a night off.

I've never been to celebration so don't know much about the layout or how busy it will be.

Uber will almost sure to be on surge pricing and you might have to wait for quite a while. However will still likely be cheaper and quicker than a normal taxi.

With a four and eight year old in tow, may not be the wisest choice.

Celebration on July4th is packed, it's become a major destination. If you're not there early you're not going to able to park, or find anywhere to sit. There are thousands of people there. It's a major public holiday.
