Thomas Cook - Car Hire Ref

Hi, question for anyone that booked car hire through Thomas cook with Alamo, my Thomas cook paperwork states I will get no further paperwork through details confirm my car hire but I have no booking ref.

Does anyone know if a further ref is sent or how I log into my car hire booking ?

I'm not sure. I'll try the online chat with Thomas Cook soon, so hopefully we can skip the counter then. I go in September, but yeah, on my holiday email there is very very little information about the car side of things

Think I've read other posts where the customer had to contact TC to get their Alamo ref number. Hopefully they booked the vehicle using the drivers full first name... If they entered it as an initial, you won't be able to complete the online check in / skip the counter.

Thats what I want to do, skip the counter and look at a possible upgrade direct with Alamo rather than they TC. Thanks for the input :-)

TC only put my first initial in for us a few years ago, however a email to Alamo sorted that out for us, the ref number for us was on a seperate voucher and came after we paid the full amount(unsure when that was), this was a few years ago though.

I contacted Thomas Cook today and got the reference number for Alamo. Thomas Cook, said I should be able to skip the counter with the number. We'll see though, maybe i'll email Alamo in advanced though, as even though im the lead passenger of the holiday, im not the driver.

I contacted them yesterday and as I'm lead passenger on 1 system & my husband on another they would not give me the reference for my own safety and said it would break data protection ! Never heard anything as ridiculous !
