Car rental 8
Has anyone had any experiences of renting through car rental 8? We are looking for a minivan 7/9-24/9 and their price is £404 which is way less than others but am wary some bad reviews. Thanks all

I have never heard of them, which makes me wary!
However their website looks ok albeit I was a bit concerned that it defaulted to my Country of residence being Argentina! However the big 2 Insurances are included I note, plus all taxes as well. So I looked at their reviews. Bearing in mind people tend to slam rental companies on reviews theirs look remarkably good - do I smell a rat? All the negative ones have comments on that '' we will reach out to you'' At the end of the day it's your decision and I cant find any more info sorry. Best of luck in your search. NB. The price for a 7 seater is good!

Thanks for the speedy reply, I do appreciate your thoughts. I did find some awful reviews on trip advisor and was hoping someone on here might have some more positive experience. However, if something seems too good to be true...

Yes, there is no such thing as a free lunch as they say.
However if one pays with a credit card, and selects a supplier like Alamo from their list of cars (which you can) and you get an Alamo Ref No then maybe it will be fine. Of course if it all goes the wrong way you just claim off your credit card and get reimbursed if they go bust for example. Plus none of these rental companies keep a pile of ''dog cars'' for those who booked on a cheaper website. Interesting one.
