Tampa area for 2 nights. Where to stay?
Hi all,
We are flying in to Tampa, arriving around 3pm. We would like to spend a couple of nights chilling before driving on to Orlando for 10 days. Where would you recommend to stay for a couple of nights. We were thinking Clearwater or St Petes. Open to suggestions. Thanks |

we do the same thing, 2-3 days on the beach when we land. we have been twice to Treasure island - Johns pass beach motel (cheap but good location), and this year booked the Belleair beach resort motel (between Indian rocks and Clearwater beach), only 1/2 hr from airport and walk out onto the beach (there is a cheaper belleair beach motel further down, but the reviews are terrible). lots of people on here love Clearwater beach, but it can be pricey, and I prefer to spend the $ on steak!
