Anyone done the flow rider at ‘surfstyle’ Clearwater?

Recently heard about this and seen the You tube promo. We are doing a week in Clearwater in August. Eldest DS would love to have a go at this. He’s got absolutely no experience of surfing or anything like it! Has anyone done this? Are their instructors around to help?

Have sat and watched people on this a few times. Not brave enough to try it myself though. Yes there is always someone in there giving advice etc.

I know someone who has done a lot of these in Kissimmee (when it was open), Dubai, Singapore and the UK - Gateshead has one. So it might be worth having a look to see if there is one near your home to try it out before you go.

My kids just went on the one at Margaritaville in Hollywood Beach and they've never surfed before. They were fine, there's someone to help them

Haven't been on one there but have done it on a cruise/ They're great fun. Body boarding on them I easy and anyone can do it. Unless you do a bit of surfing or skateboarding the stand up ride is a bit tougher. My advice, is you have anyone clumsy like me, leave it to the end of your hol. I managed to break two ribs on my last attempt
