You need to go during sunset / twilight. We got great pics on that trip and the hyenas were fab - they are not common in zoos. Pics were a little dark, but it didn't feel as dark in reality.

We did an evening in July last year at about 7.30 using a FP which I am glad we did as the queue was long. We didn't see many "active" animals though which was a shame and we are planning a morning safari on our next trip in the hope that they will be more active.
