Calling a taxi...
Ok, I struggle with this every year and make so many attempts I always forget which works...
So I'm in Florida, I want to call Mears Taxi from my UK mobile, what codes do I use in front of the number? Sorry, it's funny the last minute things that bother you Thanks

Interested in this as well, although I'm sure I read Mears do an App to book Taxi's, although I've searched for it and can't find one. Anyone know the name of the App?

It's called 'mears taxi'. It looks pretty good as you get the gps location of your taxi and estimated fare etc. I think I'll give this a go when I'm there.

The app is fab...you can even see where your car is once it's on it's way to you! We didn't have a single problem using it, even when we didn't really know where we were, it found us using the phone's gps.
Saved a fortune in calls/minutes! xx |

get uber app you can pick a 3 4 6 or 8 seater and use code 0r1zgue for $15-$20 free and sometimes your first ride is free and cheaper than mears and you can see if there is a taxi in your area before you book
