KSC - When to go

Hi everyone,

We've 2 weeks bookedstarting 11th Oct with 14 day Disney & Universal tickets bought..… I've also got KSC tickets and wondered when you think the best time would be to go.

We're two adults & one 8 year old and only got Spirit of the Swamped booked for the morning of Tuesday 15th Oct so far.

Is it best to go at the weekend or a day during the 2nd week?

Any comments would be appreciated

I was advised weekends are much better for KSC as no big or school tours on.
Took that advice and went on a Sunday 2 weeks ago. It was amazing. A superb day and very uncrowded.so that advice was very welcomed.

The local kids don't. But the advice about avoiding mid week might be worth following. My daughter visited last spring with all 240 7th graders from her school.

Some US kids will have a three day weekend in October for Columbus Day. I doubt it would be a big travel weekend as most kids will only have been in school for a month and I don't think parents would take them out outside of the normal days off.

US school holiday schedules are set by the individual districts so it's hard to say if any have time off. I think some New York/New Jersey schools may take a fall break in October.

I am about 99% certain we went to KSC on a Saturday or Sunday as I didn't want to go to a theme park those days. It was more or less empty, this was May time (not this year).
