Getting to the boardwalk

We are staying at AOA, we are planning on going from AOA to lunch at the boardwalk one day then going into Epcot. What's the easiest route? I could drive or use Disney transport

Skyliner to Epcot and then a short stroll to boardwalk or Skyliner to HS and boat to boardwalk.

thank you, wasn't sure if we could walk from epcot without going in, but guessing that will be quieter than going near HS
