Anyone else had their FOP fastpass time changed by Disney?

I had a FOP fastpass 8-9pm booked for our last evening, had an email today from Disney saying they’ve changed it for operational reasons to 4.55-5.55 (so the first of our 3 fastpasses).

We booked this one last in case we were late getting there so a bit annoying that we’ll now have to rush to get there an hour earlier than planned. Any idea why they would do this when the park is still open until 9pm?

What date was it for? There’s some evening events at the beginning of August - Moonlight magic private DVC event and the DIS have a private party one night too. Perhaps it’s one of those dates so the park will be closed to non event guests?

Sounds like that’s it then, it’s 12th August. Is that just for pandora? As I could still change one of my other fast passes to 8pm.

I don’t think it will be the DIS party that night. I’m a bit worried now that’s our animal kingdom day but my fastpass window isn't open yet. It was always going to be my hardest day to get FOP, it will be even harder if it isn’t open in the evening.

The DVC event is Thursday 8th August
There is a ticketed event on the 12th though

Plenty of availability earlier in the day at the moment.

I'm hoping to get fop for the 12th. My window doesn't open up until weds and it will be our first full park day as we arrive day before.
