Soph got a step closer to becoming a primary school teacher today by passing both of her skills tests first time. If she hadn’t passed them by July 31 she wouldn’t have been able to start her uni course. Now we await results day

So, at last, O is done! As of 5.30pm, he bas finished his bac! Now at a bbq in one of the city parks!
He said it was long but ok! He is just relieved it is over! Results a week on Friday!

On the downside, a heatwave has been predicted for Thursday/Friday of over 40C. DD has her brevet (=gcses) then. The government has decided to postpone them to Monday/Tuesday next week. DD is quite frustrated as she just now wants them done.
And I have no idea what parents who have booked to go on holiday on Saturday will do. This has never happened before! Thankfully we have nothing planned except a pony competition on Sunday which DD will still do! It may do her good to relax! |

Great news that O has finished his exams now Mel. Is that all of our A level children free for the summer now? I do hope they all get to enjoy their long summer break, they certainly deserve it.
Good luck to F for both the pony competition and her exams next week 😀 |
