A half day in London
We are attending a family party in London on Saturday night, staying in the London Bridge area. Our flight home isn't until 8pm Sunday night.
Might do some sightseeing on Sunday. Just wondering what can we do without too much difficulty from London Bridge. Thank you |

Borough Market, the Shard, or you could get the Thames Clipper up and down the river. Tower of London and HMS Belfast also close by.

from London Bridge, we do 'the bridges walk' basically head to the river and walk along it away from Tower Bridge we just criss cross over the bridges down river to the London Eye (Westminster station) that way you see the shard, St Pauls, globe theatre, somerset house, houses of parliament and London eye. We do this often

For just a morning, I would stick to the Tower of London, or the shard and Borough Market! Theres too little time to do more justice! The tower looks stunning from outside, expensive to go in, but well worth it. Perhaps see if from the Thames, then cross tower bridge and head to the Shard and markets!

I would recommend a walk ( not just as there is no tube on circle and district this weekend which reduces easy access further afield)
I would head up to Tower of London along the Thames footpath then across the bridge and back down and across Millennium bridge or jubilee bridge at Embankment and back. This would pick up the tower, golden hind, globe, st Paul’s and you have lots of choices to stop for food along the way |
