New Smoking Areas

I arrive next month with smokers in our party and wondered how people were finding the new restrictions and smoking areas outside of the parks.

Whilst I smoke myself I'm less inclined to bother exiting the park at various times to have a quick ciggie but others in my party will want to.

Anyone have any feedback on how they've found it?

Hi I gave up the cigarettes awhile ago, but when i was at the parks I would take nicotine patches with me & chewing gum, but would always take my cigarettes with me for after we left the park but I always managed to get by with patches it took the edge off the same when I was on a long flight. I smoked over 40 day & mananged if I needed too for a few hours. I hope this helps

I arrived just after the smoking ban came in and I found it fine to be honest. A little forward thinking like making sure to have one before you go in helps and otherwise if I needed to pop out then I tried to work it in with being nearer the exit for something else. I think it actually made me park hop a bit more as if I went out in the afternoon for one I found myself thinking why not hop on a bus and go to another park!

Epcot was for sure the most difficult for me just because it can be a really long walk depending on where you are of course but even then I found it ok. There is an area out of International Gateway (or at least there was) if you are in World Showcase.

That's interesting as I expected Epcot to be easier as you have two smoking locations at the entrance and international gateway!
