If You Could Be Anywhere Today?

We were supposed to be leaving Fort Lauderdale today, to begin a 12 night cruise around the Caribbean. We came to terms with the knowledge that we wouldn’t be going a few weeks ago, but as per this thread, it would be so lovely to be setting sail today knowing that those 12 nights were ahead of us. ☀️🛳🏝

In our garden, the BBQ is cleaned and ready to go. We’d have all the family round and spend the day relaxing and chatting together.
If we weren’t in lockdown when I was thinking what I wanted to do the answer would definitely be strolling around Epcot but having not seen my family for a while the BBQ at home is winning for ‘of only’.

2 choices, the first is obvious, WDW. Possibly Toy Story Land riding Slinky Dog Dash.

The second would be the Street Food Market in Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam chatting with our son and drinking a beer and watching all the crazy traffic going past. Obviously all the family would be with me

Walking through the gates of Animal Kingdom at rope drop, on a beautiful morning before it’s too hot, on a day full of promise and excitement.

Right at the top of Splash Mountain. Castle in the distance, brambles around the drop below and the Florida sun beating on my face as the excited drop screams begin. I miss my happy place 😢
