Old for me. I liked the columns as it spread the information out more and I could just focus on the bits I wanted to look at. I'm sure I'll get used to the new layout though.

Edited to add that I live on Forum Spy so my comments mainly relate to the new layout of that - it especially jars when you go in to a thread which has the old layout. Will everything be changing?

I prefer the old but am getting used to the new changes now, at least Stu/Smax respond to our queries about the changes they have made which makes the process that bit easier to grasp.

I'm looking at the site on a laptop and, tbh, not much has changed. Yeah, the "new posts" option has now been subsumed into the DIBB Forums dropdown menu and a few other minor things like that but there are no major differences...

...except for the movement of Latest News section to the new "theDIBB.com" web address. Unfortunately, my work's firewall blocks that address so I can't see it. Which is a pain.

If anything this is to help stu and smax to let them what people think of the changes.

I preferred the old, especially the little blue arrow, but I am getting used to the new style. Also happy to learn that to press the blue spot on the left of threads i’ve been reading will take me to the last un-read posts which is very handy. So not all bad. 😁

I’m also aware that to change a website over to a new style can be pretty pricey, and not always as easy to change back once it’s been done.

Sorry but I found the old site much easier to navigate.
So old format for me.
I really don’t like this new set. Sorry!

Not too much has changed for me but just based on it being annoying having to click an extra menu every time I want new posts or when I want to change to desktop I've selected old layout. I do understand that changes maybe needed to be made and appreciate the work stu and smax put into the site.

We are going to change the site completely before October. We need to change the forum software to a different platform to enable us to move to a new server in October/November.

There will be a lot of minor changes before the BIG change of the forums. Whenever forums change there are always going to be people that don't like change. But change has to happen. Software and hardware changes force that.

Unfortunately it is a shed load of work for me to do in making all the extras work with the new software. Some things cannot be changed though as they will no longer be compatible.

Appreciate it's a lot of work, and I'm sure we'll all get used to it. Hopefully, some of the comments will help with the redesign (software permitting) as you find out what elements people particularly like. As always, really appreciate everything you do to keep the site running
