Mmmm not too much choice around us but if we want good haddock and chips its Elite. They're normally really good and they have opened a new place in the Bail so we will try there soon I think

Soph went to school in Nettleham and we got married there 28 years ago tomorrow

We are only 5 minutes away from there so may try it soon. Also Soph is at uni with someone who works there too so I don't know why I didn't thank about here

I’m naturally quite shy and don’t find it easy to strike up conversation with people I don’t know. I can come across as stand offish and a snob, but I’m really not - just don’t find chatting easy. Unless I’ve had a drink! I’ve been with DH since 1988 and to this day wonder why on Earth he chose me, because I don’t consider myself pretty.

We have not been blessed with children and that will be my regret for all time, but there was nothing we could do about that. At 58, I’m the youngest member of my small family left and I worry about my future in my old age. I don’t want to be left on my own!

I work hard, I enjoy my job. DH is my best friend and soul mate and I wish we could both retire right now and enjoy free time together more. My obsession is my poodle, Peter, although he just turned 15 and I have to make the most of him, now.

God, I sound like a real downer! But I have a great sense of humour and love to laugh; and I cry when I laugh. I like to cook and bake. I have pipe dreams that will never come true. But I can dream, can’t I?
