Question Blizzard Beach

How busy will it be tomorrow (Sunday) my wife says she would like to have a chilled out day to start the holiday but I am not sure how busy it will be being a weekend and with Typhoon Lagoon being closed for refurbished.

We are going in about 30 minutes so will have a good idea for you when we get back. I would expect it to be busy as weather turns a bit on Tuesday and it is the weekend after all.

It was extremely busy yesterday (Friday), uncomfortably so tbh. However, the queues weren't too bad, which was weird!

We went on Wednesday and left after about 15 mins - it was extremely busy and we knew we would have the hotel pool to ourselves so we went back to the hotel and had our chill out day there. BB was just too busy to even get a chair let alone relax - and we were there 10 mins after it opened!

The weekends are quieter at the waterparks.

Really?

They are always marked as busy parks on the park hours page.

The waterparks are BUSIEST at weekends. The locals use their APs to go, especially if its nice. With Typhoon closed (and AI in Tampa closed), one park will take the strain.

We have found waterparks to be very busy at weekends and we think that the locals are the main customers. We try to avoid since they know all the good places to "dig in" and if you are not in there early enough there will be no chairs left! (yes, happened to us once),

No way would i ever go to a waterpark at the weekend. Locals will fill the place.

We go to Florida in a month and hopefully the parks will be ok temperature wise.

Just back now and I would recommend you get there for when it opens as it soon fills up and queues start building for the slides .
I would be concerned about having a relaxing day there though .
