Does anyone know cost of changing Virgin flights?

Hi

We booked and paid in full for flights to Orlando from Manchester at the end of Dec 19. Due to travel on 13th Oct - 3rd Nov.

We are therefore not currently covered by the no fee change policy due to covid.

However if we were to change flights to a date in say April next year does anyone know what the cost would be? We were due to travel PE out and Upper class back.

Thanks

Debbie

I think it is £50 admin fee plus the cost if the flights have gone up -but not too sure.

Hi, we changed our flights from October to march and paid £100 per person plus a single £50 admin fee. So 4 people cost us £450 in total. However ours was a package holiday booked direct with Disney that has virgin flights

I had to do this at the end of last year as our Cruise was cancelled. They charged us £180 each! For all of 2 minutes work to press a couple of buttons 😳

When we did it, we phoned the flying club and got a numpty who couldn't do it at all, then wanted £400 each + £50. Phoned customer services and they wanted £200 each which is what we paid...
...to move it to July which they just cancelled but won't refund the £400 to move.

I booked flights only for 9/7/20 to 27/7/20 direct with VA.

On 21/4/20 I contacted VA via the What’sApp number and asked if I could request an ‘open ticket’ that was advertised on their website for everyone flying until 30/6/20 that was free. VA replied that they wanted £150pp (£600 in total) to do such as thing. I explained that when the time came and they wanted me to remain loyal and take a voucher/ open ticket then they could think again.

Today (25/5/20) I received an official cancellation of my flight. Guess what! It ain’t gonna be the open ticket they want me to have! Their customer service has been horrendous and I take great satisfaction asking for my money back!

I contacted VH on twitter earlier and was advised to leave rebooking our October holiday until next month as the *may* extend the no charge period to cover October. Might apply to flight only too?

It did actually change a couple of weeks ago to include October but only stayed that way for a few hours before it was changed back to September. Will be keeping fingers crossed that it gives us the option to move soon. X
