A cruise has never been on my radar, but the more I look the more excited I get about the thought.

Dates are tricky too though, as tied to school holidays. And I didn't appreciate that you can't just pick a date as ships only sail on certain dates (not every day - duh! ).

SOooo much to read up. Just when I got Disney and Florida straight and could probably become a tour operator myself.

Thanks again, much appreciated.

Wow you sound exactly like me in terms of being new to cruising and trying to cram all the information. We are a family of 3 with a son who will turn in August 2019, we are looking at a cruise for the summer and have been considering the Royal Caribbean Symphony ship, I believe I am right in saying it's currently the largest cruise ship, looks amazing. So much information to gather and in a relatively short space of time as Royal Caribbean are offering free drinks packages and wifi when booked by 2nd July I have also looked at the Disney Cruises and like the look of them too and Castaway Cay looks fab. My current concerns are the sizes of the rooms on RC, they look so small am worried how we would all get on in such close proximity for a week. Son isn't overly considerate noise wise and hubby hates being woken up, although we would all be jet lagged anyway, so maybe it wouldn't be such an issue

Must admit I am really excited at the prospect of the cruise though. We are on our 7th visit to Orlando this year, so feel like it's time to try something new. Look forward to hearing your plans as they progress xx
