Hello,

First time (pre)trip report. Here it goes...

Although living 30 minutes from Newcastle Airport, we're flying from Edinburgh due to the excessively high flight prices from Newcastle. Easyjet stopped flying from Newcastle to Paris a few years ago, so the only flights are operated by Air France Hop.

We're staying at the Marriott Edinburgh and flying first thing the next morning with Easyjet.

I toyed with the idea of booking a hire car from Paris, but as we'd either have to hire child car seats from Hertz or pay to check these with Easyjet, it seemed easier booking transfers with Prestige.

We're then off to the Newport Bay Club with lake view rooms. We've watched the prices for a few months now, booking last week when the Belgium and French sites has a flash sale. This ended up being £645 per room for 3 nights.

Roll on first weekend in December.
