Disney 2 day park ticket 2019

I am trying to work out what to do for my first time to Florida Aug 2019... We are planning at staying near Universal and buying the 14 day ultimate ticket for this. However, we wanted to go to Disney for a couple of days. I can see you can get a 2 day ticket for 2018 but this stops at Dec 2018.. Will the same ticket become available in 2019 do you think.. E.g. do they make these tickets available for a specifi year each year?

I believe these are the first time these tickets have been made available (someone correct me if i'm wrong) so I think it's just a case of wait & see if they are brought back for next year.

That's right. This is the first year the 2 day UK ticket has been available. I imagine it will carry on next year.

You can get a 2/3/4 day tickets from Undercover Tourist. You just need to pay in dollars.

If you are referring to the Walt Disney World 2 Day Ticket + Mini Golf it has definitely been around for the last 2 years that I know of, possibly longer. I think it is mostly on sale between May and the end of July. I would think that it will be available next year, but will have to wait and see.

We brought a 2 day Disney ticket from Orlando Attractions in 2014. We visited Magic Kingdom & Animal Kingdom, but you can go to any of the 4 main parks.

Sometimes maybe they become available at a late date for the next year in case of ticket price increases. But you've always been able to get them as far as I'm aware.

if you buy the 2 day base MYW ticket from USWDW they are valid until December 2019.

Below taken from US website:
Tickets and any options purchased must be used within 14 days of first use. The first day of use must be on or before December 31, 2019.

Actually, that's incorrect.

The UK 2-Day tickets have been available in previous years, although only for the last 3 years or so, I think (something like that).

Whether they will be available next year remains to be seen.

If the OP is not bothered about the mini-golf bit of this ticket, then they could buy a 2-Day MYW Base ticket instead (from places like UndercoverTourist - see here, at the park gate, or from Disney's US website). The price is roughly about the same and this can be used in 2019.
