Can't help with most of the questions except the giraffe one... we did it last year and it was so much fun. Well worth the money and if you stand at the back of the truck you get much better picture opportunities than pushing to the front. We did buy the official photo as it had all 3 of us in it but our i phone pictures were just as good.

We drive there and back in a day ,so can't help with hotel.we get there for opening then head straight for cheetah hunt, and ride as many times as we can (it's my favourite ride in all Florida ). We then do the other coasters, stop for lunch and then do the giraffe experience.couple of relaxing hours to see the animals then head home.we go every time and wouldn't miss it.its a more relaxed day,and the drive down is fine

We love Busch Gardens and feel its very much worth the trip. Its only 1hr down the I4 so we drive both ways on the same day. I did the giraffe experience in Nov 2009 and it was amazing!

we took the free coach and a great day out stress free. We have also carried on post Busch to Treasure island and stayed at the Thunderbird beach resort for the weekend. Pointless staying by the park when the sea just under an hour down the road

Sorry, can't help with most of your questions... we drive there and back in a day. Love BG. We did drive to clearwater one time after canoeing in Tampa. Took us just less than an hour to get there but didn't stay overnight.

We visited Busch Gardens for the first time in August 2015 it was lot quieter because the visitor numbers are a lot lower than Orlando parks, but it is still a big theme park with lots of rides. This meant the day was more relaxing as there was very few queues. Just be aware that some shows are only on at weekends due lower visitor numbers.
We got the meal deal. It was great value for the day as we had lots of drinks and a two meals and some snacks. Some restaurants have fridges with bottled water so you don't even have to go through the restaurant queue to get a drink. You just get your water and show your wrist band as you walk by the pay point. We all thought there was lots of choice for food and it is better food than you get at Disney. We travelled there back the same day. It took less than 1 hour each way and is a very easy straight forward drive. Edited at 10:40 AM. |
