Just found this, a brilliant report! Although my list of planned ADRs has just been torn to shreds! :-)

Wow, I don't know why I haven't seen your report before.

BS and I both have nut (and fish) allergies so this has been really useful.

We have had the dining plan before but we last had it before the allergy menus came out.

Will definitely be trying honey chicken from Yak and Yeti now... have always been reluctant to try different things until we used the dining plan last time... but this time now we know the lay of the land there is no stopping me !

Disney have always been amazing and always provided us with brilliant food.

Can I ask ... I was led to believe that you could still speak to a chef if there was something ont he normal menu you fancied to see if they could accomodate... is this still the case

Thanks for taking the time to do the report.

Fantastic food report, thanks for doing it!

Have to agree with you about the Yachtsman - OMG - the bread was amazing and my steak was probably the best steak I've ever had!

Theres a few places we haven't tried before that you mentioned on here so we'll have to give them a go next time!

I'm starving now - lol!

Hi, since the allergy menus have come out they have changed things a bit. In the past like you say, you could chat to the chef to get some advice etc. However when we got the allergy menus last time round, we were told Disney introduced this because the chef was coming out multiple times a night and it wasn't time-efficient. So now you get the menu, and your server has a tick sheet on which they say the chef won't now come out unless you express a wish to see them, and they will then tick the box to either say you understand the menu and don't wish to see the chef, or that you do.

But to be honest it is so much simpler now each starter/entree/dessert is listed with who can eat it (i.e. it says "suitable for nut/fish/dairy allergen sufferers" or something along those lines)
