We got a 445pm reservation for MM in 2015 and a 5pm reservation for HBD last year. As others have said they are early dinner reservations to fill the restaurant.

If you were considering paying the extra $10 to go to h&v, then I would just top it up by an extra $10 again and go to hbd. There is no comparison. I wouldn't return to h & v after an awful breakfast there in 2015. The restaurant was dirty at 8am! Hbd is a beautiful signature restaurant and being able to eat 3 courses there for $65 is a bargain. We had our best meal there last year. By the same token we also enjoyed MM immensely in 2015. Huge portions! And good too.

We booked 1pm hoping to pop back to hotel to let kids nap around 3pm to come bk to park around 7 with our fastpasses for famtastic x
