Driving from MCO to Anna Maria

Hi we are planning 3 nights down AMI, driving there after our flight! What's the drive like? Will be in July x

It's not a drive we would choose to do after landing but if you go in over Cortez it would be easier than going in on Mannatee which is a bit convoluted,especially if it is getting dark. Have a great time.

It's not a bad drive, although id rather not do it just after landing. Its a bit boring as it is motorway almost all of the way. We are going again in April for 12 nights, just two nights in orlando , its well worth it. Mote marine aquarium and boat ride is a good day out.

I do it straight after the flight and don't find it a problem as long as I know exactly where I'm going.
