Disney only make you take shoes off in the waterparks when being measured, they never ask for them to be off in the theme parks.

Book the big ones.

If he is too short - we saw a family in front of us with a boy who was a couple of cm off - they gave them a family fast pass for any ride to make up for their disappointment.

Thanks everyone. I think I may be more disappointed than him if I can't get my big thunder fix

I'll book the big ones, feed him lots of green vegetables and hope for the best!

(he did tell me this morning that he was going to grow so tall that he wouldn't fit through the door frames. I'm not sure that is very likely though bless him)

I've just measured him tonight and he's 101.5cm with trainers on 😢 Is 5mm growth in 2 months possible? I don't think it's looking great.

It's so close to 40", are they really that strict? I mean shoes can vary a lot.

Sounds like inserts might be a good idea, or running trainers have very high heels I think.

Definitely was true for us. Ds was right on the limit for Busch gardens a few years ago- was just tall enough in the morning but too small in the afternoon!
