Rivers of Light / AK - August times

Does anyone know when the opening hours for AK / show times for the Rivers of Light will be released for August? Currently they are showing AK open until 10pm during July but then it jumps back to 7pm for August but as my ADR window opens next weekend, it makes it quite tricky to plan restaurants when you have no idea if the park will be open past 7pm.

No help with times but we are in the same position, we want to book rainforest cafe and go to rivers of light so have decided we are going book a 5pm reservation and if ROL ends up being 9ish we will have a few hours in AK as well.

Iv been looking at this tonight. From what i can see the sunset in orlando in august is the same as it is in May. AK shuts at 9pm in may with ROL at 9:15. I'm thinking that august will be the same so that's what I'm going with.

We have booked Rainforest cafe for 5:30, done by 7, back in park to ride Everest in the dark, go on safari and then watch ROL

Yes this was my thinking we are there August so we are going to do a 5 pm booking at rainforest cafe xx

These days, you can't rely on hours for parks at all until around 3-4 weeks before the specific date you're trying to plan for. Disney continually change hours in the run up to a specified date. Only use the hours they release as a vague and rough guide. Extensions are common now as dates draw near.

Rivers of light Dining package - is this booked as fast pass or an ADR ?
I'm confused as to when I can try and book it.
We go June 14th.

It's an ADR, you can book an ADR now if there is an availability for the date you want. You can book either Tusker house or Tiffins on the package and get seating at ROL.
You can book it as a fastpass as well without the package but they won't be out for you dates yet.

I have just had a quick look and tried the 19th and for a party of 4 around 5.30 and you can get times at 520 and 545 and 430 at both venues. No good if you want breakfast though.
