Navmii reviews? Updated!

We have been offered a friends sat nav, but not keen on borrowing, in case we lose or damage it (also it has not been updated in over 5 years) - has anyone used NAVMII app successfully? I have downloaded to my iPhone, and added all our destinations successfully, just wondering if it is a good choice?

Yes, used it last summer with no issues. I was only planning on using it until I bought one of the Garmins with lifetime USA map updates while I was there but after the first couple of days I thought it was so good I didn't bother with the garmin.

I have also downloaded this app how do you add locations loopylou? Obviously as I'm in the U.K. now the app doesn't like that lol

I've used Navmii in Florida and it worked great. We alternated between using Navmii and google maps, whichever loaded up the route first

Yes, i use Navmii USA for Florida, it's great.

Search for a location eg. Loews Royal Pacific Resort. Click on the selection and then hold your finger on the location and it should pop up with 3 options and click on add to favourites. Then you can search through your favourites when you get there.

I've downloaded the app and spent a while in putting all our planned destinations into favourites on the weekend. Fingers crossed it all works.

i have used it in Florida, california, Nevada and France. All with the same success of any sat nav. As mentioned above load in the place you know you will want to go as favourites. As it hold all data locally there are no roaming charges.
If you are just in the disney area you could look at downloading google maps as you can download chunks of data for them also.
