Be Our Guest - Breakfast?
Hi all.. I was just wondering when is best to go to Magic Kingdom's Be Our Guest. The 180 countdown is nearly here so I am keen to book. I'm not so much going for the food like most people who visit there! So was thinking that breakfast would be the better option.. any thoughts? Thanks, Kimbo

We prefer lunch to breakfast. You could just get soup and a cupcake or a cupcake and drink if all you really want to do is have a look around. An early or late lunch will be quieter.

That's a good point, thank you! I am assuming you can't just walk in though right? Still worth booking? I'm so excited to see it!

Just to jump in - I managed to book for a 2pm lunch on my hubby's birthday - July 11th. Only managed to get the booking last night so very excited.
I'm planning on soup and a cake with some "grey stuff" on - although I'm not really sure what the "grey stuff" tastes like. I did consider breakfast but had a look at the menu and wasn't keen on their breakfast offering and it seemed expensive compared to lunch time. |

No, you can't just go in for a wander round - the entrances are controlled by cast members. I think it's definitely worth a look round though

We definitely preferred the lunch to breakfast. (Kids didn't enjoy the choices at all first thing). However an early am reservation is great for getting you on to 7DMT with little or no queue!
Lunch was lovely, lots of choice and a great chance to look around and stay out of the heat for a while |

If you can get it I would say it's worth trying to get an 8am (or as close as you can get) reservation. It's only useful on a day when the park opens at 9am with no extra magic hours though as it gets you near 7 dwarfs mine train before park opening.

We book here for breakfast on a non magic hours day so we can get to the Mine Train before opening, then over to Big Thunder and Splash, Pirates etc without FP. Get as close to 8 as you can and its lovely and quiet in the restaurant chance for a good look round and lots of photos. Yes the food choices are not the best but its not just the food you go here for, on the dining plan its a must for us. We also book for lunch, but it was soo busy last time even at 11.45 am, much prefer morning it gives you a great start to touring the parks

The breakfast menu is way better than it used to be (no thanks egg white omelette haha) so this time we've opted for Breakfast as we really disliked lunch when it first opened, dinner on our last visit was better- hopefully breakfast there will get us ahead of the masses in the queues as we have an 8am slot.
I'd go for breakfast. |

Thanks for all of your help guys! Booked for breakfast eventually.. I was aiming for an early lunch but there were no time slots available - I still can't grasp how making a reservation 180 days in advance can be so stressful! Looking forward to it, and will still get that cupcake!
