Dinner

We tried Giordanos on the 535 near Disney (just further down from Crossroads). I’d bought a coupon for $2 off restaurant.com that saved $25. Terms were a minimum spend of $35 plus an automatic tip added of 18%.

Giordanos is famous for Chicago style deep dish pizza. I’d read reviews that recommended calling ahead as they take 40 mins to cook so I did – ordered a large pepperoni. We also had a Caesar salad, garlic bread with cheese and 3 soda’s. Server was lovely and pizza was delivered quickly maybe 10 mins after we were seated.

Pizza was like something off man v food! Think I only managed a slice. We took half with us to go.

It was more like lasagne – tasty but different. Glad we tried it.

Cost $20.44 ($18.44 plus $2 coupon including tip)

Snacks

We got a soda refill at Aquatica in our Seaworld refill mug for 99 cents plus tax =$1.06.

I also took a small cool bag with snacks like biscuits and raisins into Aquatica with no problem. Individual snacks are ok just not huge coolers or family size packets.

Total $1.06

Total food/drink day 6 $106.71

I must say, I rarely persevere with Trip reports, but this one has me hooked.

I am a total OCD budget boy and love the detail about costs and also the pictures/information.

I hope to see maybe a visit to Aplebees who have some good deals, and also a visit to Bob Evans for what in my opinion is the best breakfast I get in Florida!

Keep posting and I'll keep reading, enjoy the rest of your stay.

Good guess - yes a Bob Evans breakfast features day 12? I think (they also give a free breakfast for joining their email club). Didn't make it to Applebees this trip but agree it is good value.

We went twice this holiday - had a lovely meal both times.

If you are anywhere near well worth a visit.

It just goes to show that Florida need't cost the earth. I am a couponer and like you have saved and got bargains. Manny's is a must for us I remember once we went there on an earlybird on a monday so it was kids eat free. We had 2 starters (huge), 2 steaks, kids meals, beer and 1 huge cheesecake for $47 inc tip! If only we could eat as well for that price in the UK. Great thread.
